4 tsp of water 4oz of butter 12oz of soft light brown sugar 1tbsp of corn syrup 1tbsp of honey (to subsitute golden syrup) 1tbsp of black molasses 1/2 cup of nuts of choice
Step 1:
Put all ingrediants into a saucepan. Heat slowly over stove, stirring until butter melts and sugar dissolves
Step 2:
Bring it to boil, cover pan, boil gently for 2min. Uncover and continue to boil. Stirring occasionally for 10-15min. or until it reaches 280 degrees
Step 3:
Put into greased pan 15cm(6in) and add nuts. Leave until hard. Turn out onto a board. Break up with a rolling pin.
Step 4:
Store in an alright container between grease proof paper
